The Murchison Falls Game park is the largest of Uganda’s conservation areas, it is a pleasant wilderness area of rolling grassland and wooden savanna. With about 3,893 sq. km in size, extending from Karuma falls in the east to Lake Albert and is bisected by the Victoria Nile. an 11 km launch cruise to the falls and a game drive in search wildlife, including Crocodiles, hippos, elephants and birds including the rare shoebill stork, are some of the main activities you can enjoy. Murchison has a large number chimpanzees in the region, With over 1000 chimpanzees in Budongo and Kaniyo Pabidi Forests.
The largest park in the pearl of Africa has a lot to offer you ranging from various species of birds like the incredible shoe bill, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo which can be seen on a launch cruise on the banks of Victoria Nile. While on a game drive you will enjoy viewing Buffaloes, antelopes, hartebeest, waterbuck, Rothschild’s giraffe and possibly leopard and lion can also be seen. Over 360 bird species have been recorded. The astonishing Murchison Falls where river Nile converges for over 400 meters into a chasm of 7 meters forming the most prominent falls of the pearl.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Entebbe air port; meet with our staff for greeting and introduction thereafter transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for overnight. O/N: Pope Paul hotel or Africana hotel or Sheraton. (BB)

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison
After a morning break fat drive towards Murchison Falls Conservation Area. Drive through Luwero, Nakasongola and branch off to Ziwa Rhino camp. Here you will track rhino in their habitants after over 30yrs extinction in Uganda. Thereafter, proceed to Masindi, Lunch en route, enter into the park and check in at your lodge for an evening. O/N Paraa Safari Lodge or Murchison River Lodge (FB).

Day 3: Murchison Falls
The day starts with a game drive north of the River Nile. Here you will possibly see different bird species, hartebeests, elephants, Cape buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, Oribis, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas and probably lions. Break for lunch and return for and afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the spectacular falls as you view fauna in a closer range including hippos and Nile crocodiles. Climb to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s perfect gorgeousness, and sensation as it compresses and constrict for over a kilometre wide down through a 7-meter chasm. Day 4: Chimp Tracking
Track chimpanzees in budongo forest. Tracking can be challenging to the unfit but at the end of the day coming to a close range with these relatives of human gives you a non forgettable experience. O/N Paraa safari lodge / Red chilli rest camp

Day 5: Murchison – Kampala
After a morning breakfast, take a gentle drive to Kampala and then transfer to Entebbe airport for departure.
