PEARL OF AFRICA EXCEPTIONAL SAFARI (14 Day): Track Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi south, Chimpanzees, Game and Birds in game parks of Uganda; Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, Kibaale and Budongo Forests.
Tracking commences every morning from the park headquarters at 0830 hours, but clients should depart their lodgings at 0600 hours, arriving at the respective parks ready for a detailed briefing from the guides on gorilla etiquette. Gorilla tracking is a year-round activity, irrespective of season. The rain forest is moist, and it rains very often in Bwindi, even in the dry season. Porters are available to carry clients’ belongings. Bwindi is rich in other primates, including chimpanzee and blue monkey.
Butterflies are the most conspicuous of the rich insect fauna of the park, with more than 200 species. Return via Lake Bunyonyi to relax and unwind in this deepest lake on Uganda’s soil; this is necessary to break from the few previous days of heavy activity, driving and trekking.

Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Entebbe international airport, meet with the driver guide for introduction and transfer to a hotel. O/N Lake Victoria hotel or Boma Guest house in Entebbe/ Pope Paul Hotel or Hotel Africana in Kampala. (BB)

Day 2: Kampala – Source of the Nile
After breakfast receive briefing from the guide then head off to the source of the giant river of Africa the Nile in Jinja via Mukono through Mabira Forest the largest diversity of bird species in Uganda, the journey proceeds across Owen falls dam the legend hydro electricity generator for Uganda. By boat view the separation of river Nile from Lake Victoria, here the water you see Nile starts its 90days journey Have lunch at Jinja Nile resort hotel and head for Obstinacy of Bujagali, Itanda falls. Day 3: Kampala – Murchison Park
Take an early morning drive to Murchison Falls Conservation Area. Drive through Luwero, Nakasongola and branch off to Ziwa Rhino camp. Here you will track rhino in their habitants after over 30yrs extinction in Uganda. Thereafter, proceed to Masindi, Lunch en route, enter into the park and check in at your lodge for an evening. Day 4: Murchison Falls National Game Park
The day starts with a game drive north of the River Nile. Here you will possibly see different bird species, hartebeasts, elephants, Cape buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, Oribis, bushbucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas and probably lions. Break for lunch and return for and afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the spectacular falls as you view fauna in a closer range including hippos and Nile crocodiles. Climb to the top of the falls where you can see the Nile’s perfect gorgeousness, and sensation as it compresses and constrict for over a kilometre wide down through a 7-meter chasm. Day 5: Masindi – Kibale forest national park
Take along drive south to Kibale forest in fort portal via Hoima through local villages astonishing view of tea plantation sceneries en route to the ‘Mountains of the moon’ region. O/N Nyinabulitya country Resort or Chimpanzee View Guest House or CVK Resort (FB)

Day 6: Kibale forest and Bigodi
Track the closest brothers of human in kibale forest the highly populated in the region, Kibale is a tropical rain forest with other primates like bush babies, baboons, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkey, and several bird species together with trees including the Elephant beer tree, all can be spotted on a nature walk in the forest. Take a lunch break and head to Bigodi for a swamp walk on the trails by the local community. O/N Sunrise Hotel or Chimpanzee View Guest House or CVK Resort (FB).

Day 7: Amabere Cave, Toro Palace and travel to Queen Elizabeth national Park
Set off in the morning after breakfast to visit the legendary multi-breast cave and hike hills as you vie crater lakes surrounding this hills take a village walk and return to fort portal for lunch. Visit the Toro palace on the mysterious hill of Kabalore in the afternoon and depart fort portal for Queen Elizabeth Nation. O/N Simba Safari Camp or Mweya safari Lodge (FB).

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set off early in morning for a game drive as you fabulous animals of the pearl, visit Katwe and buffaloes can never miss your sight here. Guinea fowls and other bird species, elephants, giraffes, and Kobs in their mating grounds can be viewed as there are chances seeing tree climbing lions on your rummage. After lunch take an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel as you view fauna at a closer range, hippos, other animals and several bird species will be seen as the get water to douse themselves. Day 9: Kyambura gorge – Bwindi Forest
Visit Kyambura gorge in the morning and track chimps and monkeys as you take a view of the gorgeous Albertine rift valley model of scenery. Break for lunch and later quit Kasese for Bwindi or Mgahinga depending on the permits available. O/N Buhoma community camps or Heritage Hotel Kisoro (FB).

Day 10: Gorilla Tracking
Track gorillas after breakfast in the morning, this is the climax of the tour gorilla tracking can take 3 -9 hours on walking in the jungle before one returns to his/her accommodation, the jungle, precipitous landscape and rain may make the tour challenging but with a close encounter face-face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will ever have in life. Day 11: Bwindi – Lake Buyonyi
Leave Bwindi/Kisoro for Lake Bunyonyi a crater lake in Kabale and the deepest in the East African region. Take a boat cruise on the water to the Island, relax swim and enjoy the amazing view of the crater and the surrounding sceneries. O/N Bunyonyi safari resort or Bunyonyi overland resort (FB).

Day 12: Bunyonyi – Kampala
After breakfast take a mild drive back to Kampala out of the rift valley via Mbarara lunch en route. O/N: Pope Paul hotel or Africana hotel. (HB)

Day 13: Kampala city tour

Day 14: Departure
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport where you will board your flight back home and say goodbye the pearl of Africa meanwhile thinking of when to revisit and explorer the spectacular un unobserved beauty of the pearl.
