Seven gorilla families are open to visitors in Uganda (Rushegura, Mubare, and Habinyanja accessed through Buhoma; Ruhija accessed through Ruhija; and, Ishongi, Nkuringo, and Gahinga accessed through Kisoro); six in Congo. You may also engage while on your trip in other activities including, guided nature walk in the forest, other primates tracking, birds watching, butterfly watching and village walks.

Day 1: Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will meet our drive who will transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for an overnight. O/N Hotel Africana or Hotel Bougainviller or Sheraton (BB).

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

You will go to the jungle at around 8:00am to Track Gorillas after breakfast in the morning, this is the climax of the tour gorilla tracking can take 3 -9 hours on walking in the jungle before one returns to his/her accommodation, the jungle, precipitous landscape and rain may make the tour challenging but with a close encounter face-face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will ever have in life. O/N Gorilla forest camp or Heritage Hotel Kisoro (FB).

Day 4: Bwindi – Kampala

Take a gentle drive back to the city through Ankole – Masaka dry corridor, with a stopover in Masaka town for lunch and then ensue Kampala. You will transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
