Kibale Forest Forest Park is located in western Uganda and has the highest number of primates in Africa among these include thirteen species; the largest number of chimpanzees, red, black and white colobus, blue monkeys and baboons. at this park you can engage in primate tracking, A forest walk, bird watching and many other activities where you have high chances of seeing and experiencing the chimp lifestyle. Over 335 bird species recorded in Kibale forest and Bigodi swamp can give excelent birding experiences of species among which include;  the Green-breasted pitta, African pitta, Abyssinian groundthrush, Crowned eagle, Dusky crimson wing, Black-capped apalis, Collared apalis, Purple-breasted sunbird, Black bee-eater, Yellow spotted nicator, Little greenbul, Black-eared ground thrush, Brown-chested alethe, Yellow-rumped tinker bird and the Blue-breasted kingfisher.

With a visit to Kibale forest park you will go for chimp tracking, forest walks and bird watching and also Visit Bigodi Wetlandthat is managed by a local community association called (KAFRED). Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Entebbe air port; meet with our staff for greeting and introduction thereafter transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for overnight.  O/N: Pope Paul hotel or Africana hotel or Sheraton. (BB)

Day 2: Kampala – Kibale Forest Park

After breakfast leave Kampala for Kibale via Fort portal via Mityana and Mubende through tea plantations of Kyenjojo to the land of `mountains of the Moon’ magic silhouette for lunch. After a pleasant lunch head for the incredible Amere cave and search for missing breast of the Toro princes explore some crater lakes and carry on for a night in Kibale Forest Park for a jaunty sleep on an innate divan. O/N Chimpanzee view guest house or Primate Lodge or Mountains of the moon hotel (FB).

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking

Track the closest brothers of human in kibale forest the highly populated in the region, Kibale is a tropical rain forest with other primates like bush babies, baboons, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkey, and several bird species together with trees including the Elephant beer tree, all can be spotted on a nature walk in the forest. Take a lunch break and head to Bigodi for a swamp walk on the trails by the local community. O/N Nyinabulitya country Resort or Chimpanzee View Guest House or CVK Resort (FB)

Day 4: Kibale forest park – Kampala

You will drive back to Kampala city and then transfer to the airport for departure.

Day 5: Bird Watching in Kibale Forest

You will start the day with and early morning walk viewing birds in Kibale forest which is known to have over 320 recorded bird species including the Green-breasted pitta, African pitta, Abyssinian groundthrush, Crowned eagle, Dusky crimsonwing, Black-capped apalis, Collared apalis, Purple-breasted sunbird, Black bee-eater, Yellow spotted nicator, Little greenbul, Black-eared ground thrush, Brown-chested alethe, Yellow-rumped tinker bird, Blue-breasted kingfisher and you will also go birding around the crater lakes before returning to the lodge for a rest. Day 6: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth Park

Depart Kibale forest park for Queen Elizabeth Park which boosts with over 500 species of birds including the shoebill stork, the black bee-eater, Palm-nut Vulture, Hooded Vulture, African White-backed Vulture, Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture, Lappet-faced Vulture, Brown Snake Eagle, Wahlberg’s Eagle, Bateleur, Long-created Eagle, Martial Eagle, Grey Kestrel, African Crake, Black-bellied Bustard, Temminck’s Courser, African Wattled Plover, Crowned Plover, Senegal Plover, Kittlitz’s Plover, Rufous napped Lark, Flappet Lark, White-tailed Lark, Brown-backed Srub-Robin, Zitting Cisticola, Croaking Cisticola, Grey-capped Warbler, Black-lored Babbler, Grey backed Fiscal Black-headed Gonolek, Black-crowned Tchagra, Fork-tailed Drongo, Pin-tailed Whydah. Here you will relax and have lunch after which you will proceed for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel where you will view several birds quenching up including various animals like hippos, crocodiles, kobs, buffaloes and elephants. Day 7: Queen Elizabeth – Lake Mburo Park

You will go for a morning bird watching in Kyambura Gorge while viewing the steep slopes as wells chimpanzees some of the species which could be spotted include the Palm-nut Vulture, Hooded Vulture, African White-backed Vulture, Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture, Lappet-faced Vulture, Brown Snake-Eagle. After lunch in the afternoon you will drive to Lake Mburo Park. O/N: Acardia Mburo Cottages or Mburo safari lodge (FB).

Day 8: Lake Mburo Park

Take an early morning birding in Lake Mburo National Park. You will go for a launch cruise where you may come across several bird species including the conqui francoin, kingfisher, red-naked spur-fowl, temminck’s courser, black bellied bustard and African wattled lapwing, you may also see four smaller lakes, stunning impala, waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, hippos and crocodiles. O/N: Arcadia Mburo Cottages or Mburo safari lodge (FB).

Day 9: Lake Mburo Park – Kampala

After an early morning breakfast leave Mburo for Mabamba Swamp in Mpigi and  bird water bird species like shoe bill, pink-barked pelican, long-tailed cormorant, saddle-billed stork, marabou storks and others. Continue to Kampala for an overnight. Lunch en route. O/N Hotel Bougainviller or Pope Paul hotel or Hotel Africana (HB).

You will transfer to the airport for your flight.
